An Evening with Prue Leith

Step into the world of one of Britain’s most beloved culinary and cultural icons at "An Evening with Prue Leith." From fine dining to fiction, food campaigns to television fame, Prue’s extraordinary journey has touched almost every corner of British life—and she’s showing no signs of slowing down.
Join us at the Cidermill Theatre for an exclusive evening of stories, laughter, and inspiration from a woman whose career has been anything but ordinary.
A Life Rich with Flavour
You may know Prue as the charming, straight-talking judge on The Great British Bake Off, or from her own TV show Prue Leith’s Cotswold Kitchen. But her impact goes far beyond our screens. She’s run Michelin-starred restaurants, founded the acclaimed Leith’s School of Food and Wine, and sat on the boards of household names like Safeway, Whitbread, and British Rail. Her work in education and public health—from championing better school food to transforming hospital meals—has left a lasting legacy.
Prue is also an accomplished author, having published 14 cookbooks, eight novels, and her memoir I’ll Do Anything Once. Her most recent cookbook, Life’s Too Short to Stuff a Mushroom, released in October 2024, is already a favourite among fans for its no-fuss, flavour-first philosophy.
Stories Worth Savouring
Expect candid insights, unexpected anecdotes, and a peek behind the scenes of her vibrant life—from kitchen disasters to boardroom battles, and Bake Off bloopers to personal triumphs. Whether you’re a food lover, an aspiring writer, a Bake Off fan, or just curious about the woman behind the glasses, this 90-minute event is not to be missed.
Not Bad for an Octogenarian...
With a DBE, a Michelin star, 12 honorary degrees, and five grandchildren, Prue Leith is a true tour de force of wit, wisdom, and warmth.
Secure your seat for a delightful and inspiring evening with a woman who has, quite literally, done it all.
