Open Farm Sunday at Old Farm – A Free Family Day Out in the Cotswolds

Join us at Old Farm for a fantastic day of farming, food and family fun as we celebrate Open Farm Sunday. This annual event offers a unique opportunity to step behind the farm gate, meet the people who produce your food, and experience life on a working farm.

Best of all, entry is completely free.

What’s Happening on the Day?

Whether you're a regular visitor or discovering Old Farm for the first time, there will be plenty to see and do throughout the day.

Self-Guided Farm Walk

Explore the farm at your own pace by following the clearly marked route around the fields and farmyard. Along the way you'll have the chance to:

• See our animals up close
• Take a look at the machinery that keeps the farm running
• Learn more about modern farming
• Meet the farmers and ask questions about life on the farm

Sheep Shearing Demonstrations

Watch our experienced team demonstrate the traditional skill of sheep shearing.

Demonstration times:

• 12.00pm
• 1.30pm

These popular sessions provide a fascinating insight into sheep husbandry and farm life.

Farm Shop, Vending Shed & Classroom

While you're here, visit our Farm Shop and take a look around the Vending Shed and classroom area. It's a great opportunity to discover more of what Old Farm has to offer and pick up some locally produced food along the way.

Tacos & Burgers

No farm day out would be complete without great food. Enjoy delicious tacos and burgers freshly prepared on-site throughout the event.
