Raise a Glass: Charlbury Beer Festival Returns on 28 June 2025

Mark your calendars for one of the Cotswolds’ most cherished summer events — the Charlbury Beer Festival, returning for its 27th edition on Saturday, 28 June 2025, at the picturesque Charlbury Cricket Club. Running from 12pm to 9pm, this volunteer-led festival promises a delightful day of craft beverages, live music, family-friendly activities, and community spirit.

A Toast to Tradition

Beer enthusiasts can look forward to sampling around 60 real ales and over 18 craft beers, alongside a selection of ciders, perries, wines, gins, and Pimm’s. Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur or a casual sipper, there's a brew to suit every palate.

Entertainment for All Ages

The festival boasts a vibrant lineup of live music from local bands and artists, ensuring a lively atmosphere throughout the day. The Culture Club tent offers a diverse programme of performances and talks, while children can enjoy dedicated entertainment and activities, making it a perfect outing for families.

World Aunt Sally Championships

A unique highlight of the festival is the World Aunt Sally Singles Championship, a traditional English game where participants throw sticks at a model of an old woman's head. This quirky competition adds a touch of heritage and fun to the festivities.

Supporting Good Causes

Beyond the merriment, the Charlbury Beer Festival has a noble mission. Since its inception, the event has raised over £330,000 for more than fifty local organisations and twelve overseas projects in Africa, India, and South America. All proceeds from the festival are donated to community projects, reflecting the event's commitment to giving back.
