With just a few simple ingredients — apples, nut butter, and some spooky "teeth" and "eyes" — you’ll have a tray full of grinning monster mouths in no time. No tricks here, just a delicious treat that’s perfect for the spooky season! 🕷️🦇

Let’s get creepy in the kitchen…

Ingredients:

  • 2 large apples (red or green)
  • Peanut butter or any nut/seed butter (or sunflower butter for allergies)
  • Mini marshmallows or white chocolate chips (for teeth)
  • Chocolate chips or raisins (for eyes)
  • Optional: candy eyeballs or colored sprinkles for extra spooky fun

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the apples: Wash and core the apples. Cut them into thick slices (about 1/2 inch thick).
  2. Make the “mouth”: Spread peanut butter on one side of an apple slice.
  3. Add “teeth”: Press mini marshmallows or white chocolate chips along the edge of the peanut butter to look like teeth.
  4. Make the eyes: Use a little peanut butter to stick two chocolate chips or raisins on another apple slice for eyes.
  5. Assemble the monster: Place the “eye” slice on top of the “mouth” slice, peanut butter side down, to create a monster mouth with eyes peeking out.
  6. Serve & enjoy!

You can make a whole bunch for a spooky Halloween snack platter!
